Closing Your Account

IMPORTANT: WHEN CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT YOU MUST DELETE YOUR DATA STORED WITH US OTHERWISE CHARGES WILL CONTINUE TO ACCRUE.

  • Step 1 - Cancel your License(s):

    Go to https://secure.jungledisk.com/secure/account/subscriptions.aspx and click the Cancel link next to the ALL subscriptions.

  • Step 2 - Delete your Data:

    Personal Amazon S3 (skip this and move on to the section below if you don't have a Personal S3 account connected to Jungle Disk)
    Please visit the Amazon Service Cancellation page. As we do not bill for this data storage, you only have to delete this data if you no longer want it. However, the Jungle Disk software will be needed to access data that was backed up through the software.

    Rackspace Files Cloud or Managed Amazon S3
    : On that same page is a red warning in the top left. Click the link at the end of the sentence below it.

    On the next page, click the red "Delete" button.

    This will take you to the final page. There is a survey form you can fill out, and below it, enter the account password and check the box. Then click the red "Delete" button.

    You will see this message, meaning the data we bill for was successfully deleted.

    *** As the above image indicates, you may be charged one final bill relating to data storage fees since these fees are post-paid, rather than pre-paid. ***
