Excluding Jungle Disk in Windows Defender - Windows 8

This walkthrough will show you how to Exclude Jungle Disk in Microsoft Windows Defender

1. Go to Start and type "Windows Defender" and click Windows Defender from the left.

2. Click Settings.

3. Click "Excluded Files and Locations." Add the appropriate locations by either typing them in manually or by clicking Browse and selecting the paths (For this example, "J:" is used as the location of the Network Drive). Be sure to click Add after entering or selecting the locations.

4. Click "Exclude Process" and select the appropriate process by either typing in the path or selecting it using the Browse option. Be sure to click Add after entering or selecting the path.

5. If you use a Network Drive, click "Advanced" then uncheck the option "Scan removable drives" (if checked).

6. Click "Save changes."
